Celebrating The Hearts Of Our Community:
Country Manor Valentine's Day
Our hearts are full after such an incredible Valentine's Day celebration! Residents were pampered by our amazing Salon team before stepping in front of the camera for portraits, and each guest received a beautiful rose courtesy of AARP and Sartell Public Safety. K9 Kimber was an undeniable crowd favorite, of course!
We loved welcoming Kids Country and watching generations connect — laughing, playing, and making memories together. The Eyeclick interactive projector, made possible by the Country Manor Foundation, kept the fun moving all afternoon.
The turnout was immense. The smiles were contagious. The joy was real.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, supported, volunteered, donated, and made this event so meaningful. What a gift it is to celebrate together.
-
Crafting, conversation, and good company—what more could you ask for? 💛 Just another wonderful day spent creating and connecting with friends.Button
-
Concert complete. Bells down. Time to celebrate! ❤️ A couple photos of our talented Woodcrest Bell Choir following their recent performance and celebratory lunch at @drakesfinefoodandspirits.Button
-
It's never too late to learn something new, and this talented group is living proof. ❤️ Not one of these residents had ever picked up a set of bells before. But with a little curiosity, a lot of practice, and plenty of determination, they learned an entirely new skill and recently put on a beautiful concert for our Health Care & Rehab Center residents at our Sartell campus. We couldn't be more proud of this talented group and all the hard work they put into making this concert a success. Bravo, Woodcrest Bell Choir! 👏 We hope this is just the beginning of many performances to come.Button
-
Next stop: Sweden! ✈️ As part of our travels around the world, Woodcrest residents recently made a stop in Sweden and enjoyed a delicious cultural treat: fresh-baked kanelbullar, traditional Swedish cinnamon buns topped with pearl sugar. Experiencing different cultures through food is one of our favorite ways to explore the world together. Judging by the smiles, Sweden was a sweet success! ❤️Button
-
Nothing brings people together quite like a summer grill out! A heartfelt thank you to the Great River Rotary Club and our local Boy Scout troop for treating our residents to such a wonderful afternoon filled with delicious food, laughter, and meaningful conversation. Moments like these are such a beautiful reminder of the power of community and the joy that comes from spending time together. Thank you for making our residents feel so special!Button
-
A full glass, a delicious meal, and a table surrounded by friends—some things never go out of style. 🍷 Our latest Candlelight Dinner at Woodcrest was another beautiful afternoon of fine dining, conversation, and community. Thank you to our team for making these experiences something residents look forward to all month long.Button

There’s something special about bringing generations together 💛 Our East Commons community loved spending time with students from the Sartell High School CNA class. The duo got creative, making picture holders — painting rocks, stringing beads, and choosing meaningful quotes to display. Programs like this are so special — giving students valuable hands-on exposure in their future field, while bringing fresh energy, conversation, and connection to our community. We’re grateful for the friendships formed and the joy shared along the way. ☺️ @ISD748Button

We had SO much fun celebrating Skilled Nursing Care Week in our Health Care & Rehab Center! Each day brought a new theme—Flower Power, Retro Day, Sports Day, Twinning Day, and Country Manor Spirit Day—and the participation did not disappoint. Staff, residents, and even families all joined in. Our photobooth captured every bit of the joy… and let’s just say the photos speak for themselves 😄✨ absolute gold. A huge thank you to our incredible team. From nursing and therapy to housekeeping, maintenance, social services, activities, spiritual care, the salon, and beyond—you show up every day with heart, skill, and teamwork that truly makes a difference. We are so grateful for all you do. 💙 #EnrichingLivesButton

Country Manor’s newest “residents” have officially arrived… and they are seriously cute. 🐥 Our duck eggs have been safely nestled in the raised garden beds on the East Commons patio, and they just hatched! Thankfully, our little ducklings had a custom-built ramp ready to go so they could waddle down safely — huge thanks to our construction team member, Ryan, for making sure everyone had a smooth landing. Now comes the important part… we need names! Drop your best duck name suggestions in the comments. 👇Button

Residents explored Cuban culture, dressed for the destination, snapped their “vacation” photos, and enjoyed authentic treats and drinks prepared by our talented Culinary team. ❤️ This resident-favorite series has already taken us everywhere from Israel to France and beyond. Now the big question is… where should Woodcrest travel next? 🌍Button

We asked our residents for advice for the Class of 2026… and the responses did NOT disappoint. 😂 This might be the most honest graduation advice you’ll hear all season. Music has filled the halls of Country Manor for decades thanks to Lisa Weber — bringing comfort, joy, and sometimes even a moment of magic. Lisa first joined our team in June of 1999, after answering a simple newspaper ad. What followed was 26 years of sharing her gift with residents, from birthday celebrations and weekly performances to quiet, meaningful moments at residents’ bedsides at the end of their lives. “My specialty is playing for people who are transitioning...” Lisa shared. “I try to play THEIR songs.” One moment that has always stayed with her happened while playing for a resident who hadn’t moved or spoken in nearly a full day. “I started playing polkas - because that’s what she loved. Her hands shot straight up in the air, and she started clapping.” During the height of COVID, when residents were isolated in their rooms, Lisa performed personalized virtual concerts, singing residents’ favorite songs over video calls so they could still feel connection and comfort. Through it all, Lisa says one belief has always guided her: “Through music, you can reach almost anyone.” Residents, families, and staff have all felt the impact of Lisa’s kindness and music over the years. While she may be officially retiring, we’re grateful she’ll still return as a regular guest musician to continue sharing her gift with residents. ❤️ Please join us in congratulating Lisa and celebrating her incredible 26 years at Country Manor! If Lisa’s music has ever brightened your day or touched your family’s life, we’d love to hear your memories in the comments.Button

We loved welcoming Sartell High School students back as they spent time with our East Commons residents as part of their exploration into future careers in healthcare. Together, they chatted, played games, and crafted beautiful floral door décor for residents' apartment homes. Between the creativity, laughter, and meaningful conversations, the time truly flew by. Days like these remind us how powerful (and heartwarming) intergenerational connections can be. We’re so grateful for this partnership and the joy it brings to everyone involved!Button

One of our most meaningful holiday traditions ✨ Each year, Country Manor Health Care & Rehab Center staff participate in a Secret Santa celebration, thoughtfully choosing residents they share a special bond with and surprising them with a gift chosen just for them. The joy, surprise, and happy tears say it all. And if you spot a familiar face under the beard… it’s because one of our very own team members stepped into the role of Santa, making each delivery even more magical. These moments are about so much more than presents — they’re a reflection of the genuine relationships, care, and love our team brings every single day. ❤️Button

When we say there's nothing our Country Manor team wouldn’t do for our residents, this tradition says it all. ❤️ One of our most treasured holiday moments each year is our Secret Santa celebration — a heartfelt tradition designed to remind residents just how loved and cherished they are during the Christmas season. Staff members choose a resident (or residents) they share a special bond with, then spend weeks thoughtfully planning, shopping for, and wrapping the perfect gift. The anticipation leading up to gift day is pure joy — and the surprise, disbelief, and emotion from residents when they’re presented with their gifts is truly magical. These moments go far beyond the gifts themselves. They reflect the year-round dedication of a team who genuinely takes the time to know each resident and understand what brings them joy. While these connections are evident every day, this celebration beautifully highlights the depth of those relationships. To our Secret Santa staff — thank you for the smiles, laughter, and happy tears. Your love, thoughtfulness, and dedication make a lasting impact. ❤️Button

The holiday season brought a special outing for our Sartell Senior Housing residents, who spent an afternoon soaking in the festive beauty of the historic Foley Mansion. With every room decorated for Christmas, the home felt even more magical as residents explored its history, craftsmanship, and timeless charm. The visit ended with a cozy tea party in the mansion’s dining room, where twinkling décor, fancy hats, and warm conversation made the experience feel straight out of another era. It was a joyful way to celebrate the season together and a reminder of how lucky we are to have such a stunning piece of history right in our community!Button

Each December, the story of A Cup of Christmas Tea steps off the page and into our Woodcrest of Country Manor community. At our third annual gathering, residents and friends slowed down, shared stories, and enjoyed the simple joy of being together. Because the most meaningful gifts of the season aren’t wrapped at all — they’re found in good conversation and time spent side by side. ❤️Button
